Bio: Liv Latricia Habel (b. 1996) is a Danish-American documentary photographer. Her photojournalistic work focuses on social and political issues across local and global contexts. This overlaps with her personal work, in which she is drawn to documenting the depth of Black existence in its diverse forms and conditions.
In her first publication “Diasporan Daughters” (2020) she turns the camera on herself and revisits her own memories and narratives of being a mixed black woman living in the intersection of various cultures and communities.
